Reinventing the cure for cancer… the truth may lie within

Immunotherapy involves utilising and reprogramming or strengthening one’s own immune cells to selectively engage with and destroy cancer cells. The last decade saw the arrival of Immunotherapies. Two examples are PD inhibitors and CLTA4 manipulators. Now come exciting new reports of Adaptive Cell Technology: a treatment using patients own lymphocytes (immune cells) with anti tumor activity.
